I did this painting in the fall. The silver pedestal tray I use in many of my paintings. I wanted the grapes, dripping down, on the left to show their opacity against the light.

Beautiful painting Kathryn.... I so enjoy your style and use of color. No, I have not been drawing, but have been manically hooking a couple of new bags to, hopefully, put in my Etsy store this weekend. My drawing class has been off for three weeks, and resumes tomorrow. I'm afraid I'm feeling a bit rusty with my pencils, so am looking forward to getting back with my teacher. Hope your day is peaceful and productive.
